Our Story

Romell Bell began his journey in lawn and landscaping services working for the City of Kansas City Downtown. He understood the need in the community for professional services for homeowners and corporations.  Six years ago, with his family in tow, Romell Bell became the CEO and President of Tell A Friend Lawn and Landscape.

This journey began with the idea of building a legacy for his children. Romell wanted to create something to not just give his children, but to provide an opportunity to allow them to help build it so it would always be theirs to grow and expand.

Since 2019, Romell has focused on building the business to expand from single-family to multi-family and corporate opportunities.  This growth creates more opportunities to attract talented professionals with the skill sets to provide the professional service that many in the community have come to expect.

A professional on every level, he spends a majority of his time teaching his children the front and back office of the business, manicuring lawns, and specializing in landscape design.  Dedicated to providing the highest level of service and professionalism to his customers, he admits it is personal.
